How to Keep Your Lab Clean

Clean and Contaminate Clean Lab

To ensure that your lab results are 100% accurate, it is of the utmost importance to keep your lab clean. Here are a few tips on how to do so.

Start by wearing gloves that truly fit. They should not cut off circulation but should fit snugly against your skin.

Wipe down your hands and workspace with 70% ethanol before you begin your work. Bacteria from your hands and workspace can transfer to your experiment if you do not.

Always use sterile equipment when conducting any experiment. Remember to take your time as rushing can cause mistakes easily.
